Construction
This week we started discussing Construction. We brainstormed what construction workers need, the vehicles they use and diverse tools a construction worker needs to build or repair something.
Concepts we are working on this week:

JOURNALS:
We drew what we thought a construction site would look like.
Monday, we brainstormed what construction workers do and what they need. We also watched "Bob the Builder: Construction site" and learned about tools from him.
In math, we played "UNO".
"Find the Number" was another math activity.

This was our last art class with Ms. Tara! We made our field day banner, medals and had free art time.

Lacing tools was a tricky task. We worked really hard to lace the string through each hole.
"Pete The Cat's Construction" was a good book to learn about tools and construction vehicles.

Mr. Chris, the Ladue handyman fixed our sensory table!
We loved discussing what tools we was using and how we could fix the sensory table.
Chris used a wrench, screw drivers and added some screws to make it stable.

Exploring real tools was fun. It was great to see how tools work and what they fix. We used various tools in the room to measure things or fix things.
