Abilities day and transportation continued
SCOOTER RACES! We practiced "faster than and slower than/fastest and slowest" today when we raced scooters. We were all winners! The question of the day was "Have you been on a boat or an airplane?" We had to answer and ask our friends. We practiced working as a team on building the puzzle. JOURNALS: Guess what is in the box? We drew our predictions on what we thought would be in the box. We had to listen for sounds, feel how heavy the box was, and use other senses to make our guesses. It was ... a helicopter! ABITILIES DAY: It was nice seeing all the diverse ways people can get around and help. MUSIC: We used eggs and drums to make music! Turtle tummy time is a great relaxing way to get music started. We listened to letter sounds and we had to guess the letter. ART: We made sculptures out of modeling clay, pipe cleaners and beads. Dino dig was fun!
