Happy Friday! Fish friends love legos! We built and worked well together to make different things with the legos. In circle, we did star fall this morning. We learned the days of the week, counted to 27, and sang our Friday song. During our calendar circle time we will work on counting, learning the parts of the calendar, and using adverbs such as yesterday, tomorrow, next week, last week, etc. We read " Pete the Cat Rocking in my School Shoes ." We described and looked at each of our shoes. Some had laces, some had velcro and some friends wore sandals or flip flops. In journal time, we drew what we thought was in the box. Journal time will be an opportunity for students to hear a topic or answer a question, draw a related picture, tell about their drawing, and begin to write words to describe their picture.
