Body Theme
This week we started learning about the theme "body". We brainstormed parts of our bodies, how they work and looked at different parts of our body in a book. Floor puzzles were fun on Monday. The question of the day was "What color eyes do you have?" This book " Hello World, it's My Body " was a good book about what we do with our bodies. "Spin the wheel" reinforced the important things we do with our body parts. We talked about how we see with our eyes, we run and walk with our legs, taste with our mouths, etc. We got to take turns tracing our bodies on big paper and labeled the body parts. We named, labeled and colored our bodies! Music class outside was refreshing. "K" is our letter this week. We reviewed letters and numbers today in groups.
