VALENTINE'S DAY and POST OFFICE

Happy Valentine's Day! We love our Fish friends and teachers and hope you had a lovely day! Today was a fun day celebrating love! We made pink and red chains, gave compliment hearts, passed out valentines to our friends, and danced.

We also enjoyed a "heart walk" to music. We had to listen to when the music started and stopped. We also made beaded heart bracelets for Valentine's Day.

The "cupid shuffle" was a fun dance party!

Pattern hearts was a fun math activity we did!

"Turtle time" is always a relaxing time in music class, we also played bells.

For Valentine's Day, we read, Arthur's Valentine. It talked about having a secret admirer.  Ask me what that means.

"N" is our letter this week.

Following the patterns with connectors to make a picture is a good skill for multiple reasons. We had to find the right, shape, color and find the spot where it goes.

Being frustrated can be hard so we brainstormed ways we can help our bodies calm down and words we can say.

Post office was our circle time talk this morning.

THE FISH ROOM POST OFFICE IS NOW OPEN!
We took turns playing post office, some of us were the customers, postal workers or mail wo/man. We talked about the steps of going to a post office. Ask me what I should do to mail a letter.

In math we rolled the dice to build a valentine's day heart body. We also played "What Doesn't Belong" category game.

We read "Corduroy" this afternoon.

SUNSHINE!
