Halloween con't

Wednesday afternoon we read "Room on a Broom" and rode bikes! During stories, we have been working on identifying the characters, talking about the problem, and what happens at the end.

Light Table letters were fun! We use the wording of using big lines, little lines, big curves, and small curves.

THURSDAY:
In circle, we worked on fangtastic patterns.
The fish room enjoyed watching the halloween parade! It was fun to see our friends dress up!

Ms. Erin did show-n-tell today. She brought in a pirate costume!

"Go Away Big Green Monster" was a cute book we had built a felt puppet too!

The "Go Away Big Green Monster" project was fun!
We each built our own monster and practiced sequencing. We talked about the yellow spooky eyes, the bluish-green long nose, the squiggly ears, and the scraggly purple hair.

"Spooky tag" was a fun game in the big room!

MATH: we counted monsters and played shape bingo!

The boys love running with the trucks. They went over the hill today while racing.

We reviewed the book "Room on a Broom" this afternoon and went on a pumpkin letter hunt.

HALLOWEEN! We had a FANGTASTIC time at our halloween celebration. We went on a parade, ate a ghost banana snack, a pumpkin orange and played halloween games! Trick or treating to other DHH classrooms was spooktacular time also!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! LOVE, the Fish room teachers
